Student's interested in doing an extra assignment are encouraged to construct a model of the solar system.

In your design consider the following.

-the order of the planets

-the orbit of the planets

-the characteristics of planets are depicted where possible

-moons

-other objects in space including the asteroid belt and comets

-the relative size of planets

-the relative position of planets to the sun

-your model should be neat, a manageable size and durable

-creatively presented

-construct labels, a legend or key to support your model

- be prepared to discuss your model with the teacher and or the class.
